Ian Foster has recently completed various plumbing jobs for me all of which I am extremely satisfied, with both his reliability, fair charges and high standard of work. However, a special mention must be made for the installation of a MagnaClean filter on my central system, which Ian fitted after he completed a MagnaClense. It really has made such a difference and improvement to the efficiency of the system. I always felt that our central heating system had been slightly under- specified, as the radiators never reached a high temperature in the cold weather and seemed to have cold spots. This has now changed dramatically, so much so, that I have reduced the temperature on the actual boiler and I therefore must be saving money. I didn't know Ian before and took a chance on him from the look of his website and the testimonials. I am pleased that I did and would have no hesitation in recommending him for all plumbing associated work.

Ian was introduced to me via Which local. Having used him to service my boiler, replace a circuit board and a diverter valve, I would not hesitate in recommending him to others. He arrived on time, promptly diagnosed the problem and provided an estimate for my consideration. He later called to ensure I was happy with the completed work. Most diligent.

After contacting Ian he made an appointment the next day to look at a faulty basin tap. For the replacement he suggested visiting a local supplier's website. After selecting a new tap online I just emailed him the reference number. He brought the newly purchased tap over later that afternoon, and fitted it a lot more professionally than the previous plumber had. I paid by credit card on his wireless gizmo - the first time I've ever paid a tradesperson in this fashion! An excellent and responsive service. I would definitely use Ian again.

Relied on an existing recommendation in Which Local and was not disappointed. I have used his services twice now. He altered some pipe work in order to accommodate a new built in washing machine and he changed a sink and shower waste. On both occasions he turned up when he said he would, was open in advance about his charges (which were reasonable) and did a very professional job. I would thoroughly recommend and would certainly use him again.

Prompt response. Good timekeeping. Professional and pleasant manner. Qualified to provide a wide range of plumbing and related services. Fixed my washing machine and I have given him a list of other jobs on the strength of the work he has done.
